BRIDAL Q&A

Incase you were wondering…

-what are you doing to ensure yours and others safety when dealing with covid-19?

I will be following all state governed procedures and regulations by hand washing/ using and offering hand sanitizer in between and during services, sanatizing all equipment and surfaces in-between clients, and only one person in-studio at a time. For onsite services, a designated area for hair and makeup is to be provided, where no more than two people are in the room/area per stylist (if there are more than one stylist) are allowed.

-When is the best time to book wedding hair and make up?

The best time to book wedding hair and make up is as-soon-as-possible! There are lots of dates that get booked at least a year out, so jump on it the second you’ve decided we make a match.

—What is required to save my date?

To save your date a 25% deposit on all services (including bridal party), and your signature on a short contract is all that is needed.

—When is the remaining 75% balance due?

The remaining balance is due the day before your wedding.

—What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept all forms of payment. Upon saving your date an itemized invoice for services will be emailed to you which will allow for payment on your deposit through credit, debit card, or bank transfer, though I’m happy to accept cash or check after making proper arrangements for delivery. .

—What details do you need from me (the bride) to be able to send an estimate?

You will need to know the amount of people wanting hair and/or makeup services, and which bridal package you’d like.

—Is your makeup waterproof?

It is! I have options for cosmetics that are long wearing, and even waterproof.

—What comes in the the touch up kit?

Inside your cute cosmetic bag, will be a setting spray, under eye gels, lip touch up, foundation touch up, sponge, lip applicator, q-tips, a mirror, hair pins, a hair-tie, tissues, setting powder, a micellar water wipe to remove your make up, a feminine wipe, deodorant wipes, oil blotting sheets, a nude lip gloss , as well as a surprise gift from me to you!

—When do you recommend booking a trail?

Trials work out best around 6 weeks prior to your wedding date. That way, your are very positive about the look you’d like to walk down the aisle in…and, if we need to make adjustments there is still time! Be sure to have hair and make up inspiration photos, and upload them to honeybook st least 1 week before your wedding.

My mom wants a trial…what should i tell her?

Some Mother’s want a trial as well. Especially if they have a certain look their used to, and just want someone to recreate that same exact look. I do t typically do trials for mom, as their specifically reserved for brides, but they are welcomed to book “ session hairstyling, and session makeup” so they can still get a feel for my style. Most mom’s are more comfortable with a softer glam that’s on the natural side, so we tend to be a fit!

—Where do you do trials?

In my studio! —check it out!

—Do I need to bring anything to the trail or wedding day application?

Just your pretty face! If you are wearing any bridal accessories in your hair it’s always nice to have those as well. Arrive with a fresh face, and clean dry hair. I will have everything we need including lashes.

—Do you have a team you work with for larger weddings?

I do! I have a hairstylist on-hand that is at my level of artistry. It is an extra $75 to add a hairstylist.

— How much time do you need?

For hair 30-45 mins is allowed for each style, and for make up 30 mins is allotted. About two weeks prior to your wedding I will send over a beauty timeline for the services they will need to be available for in accordance to the time you need to be ready by. The bride will almost always be the last to have services done, so you can have the freshest face all night long.

—IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?

35 miles of round trip miles are included in all pricing. $2 per mile out side of the 35 miles. The Goddess package in Clyde’s $50 miles of round trip travel. Inquire within about out of state travel. Starting point calculated from my home address in Beaverton.

—Are you experienced with medium to darker skin tones?

Absolutely! I pride my self on my ability to whip up your foundation color on the spot. In fact… I really enjoy it. There is so much more room for color with darker skin tones, and I really understand that looking “ashy,” too pale, too dark, too orange, or too yellow will ruin the entire look. I’m as inclusive as I possibly can be, and I’m always happy to learn more.

What will I as the bride need to provide for you that make up artist?

I will need at least a 2 x 4 table, or counter space area to set up my hair styling tools, and make up. I will also need an outlet to plug in my hot styling tools. Natural lighting is best. Often times we are in the kitchen by the window, at the dining table, or in a room that has incredible lighting. Lighting is the most important thing. If you know that the room you are getting ready in has terrible lighting, please let me know so I can bring additional lighting!

Are there any other fees I need to know about before booking?

An automatic 18% gratuity fee will be charged on proposals for services counts over 6.
